I am a spankee.  Since the spanker is in charge, it's up to him.

I agree with cherrybum - as a spanker I enjoy the unwrapping - hooking my fingers in the waistband and slowly peeling them down to mid-thigh.

I like to give a preliminary warm-up spanking before taking them down. What do others think about that approach?

Like I said, it's all about what works with what me and her. Having her stand there whilst I pull them down has its appeal, for sure. But also having her take them down herself reluctantly (or exuberantly!) is also enjoyable. It all depends how (or if) you want to construct an embarrassing ritual around the spanking, especially if you're adding things like corner time.
